Zyria.ng Legal
Terms of Use
Effective date: 27 September 2026 · Version 2026-09-27
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Zyria.ng, including the Essential Mart catalog, multi-store merchant platform, Source for Me concierge, checkout, Zyria Wallet, referral programme, featured store placements, and related services (together, the “Platform”) operated by Zyria Essential Mart (“Zyria”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, checking the required consent boxes, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under Nigerian law. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Zyria will never ask you to share your password, one-time codes, or session cookies. Privileged roles (including administrator) cannot be self-assigned during registration.
Buyers may create an account or sign in with Google. Doing so means you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy for that account, and Google shares your name, verified email address and profile picture with us. Keep access to the Google account you use secure, as it controls access to your Zyria account. Google sign-in creates a buyer account; to sell on Zyria, complete seller registration.
2. Buyer terms
Product listings are offered by Zyria’s flagship store and independent merchants. Descriptions, pricing in Naira, and stock may change. Orders are subject to payment confirmation, fraud checks, and availability. Any additional buyer protection or refund terms must be expressly stated for the relevant purchase. Payment processing alone does not establish an escrow arrangement.
Placing an order reserves the items while you pay. If you do not complete payment, the order may be cancelled and the items released for other buyers: unpaid orders are cancelled automatically after 24 hours, and an earlier unpaid order of yours may be cancelled when you start a new checkout 15 minutes or more after it. You may cancel an unpaid order yourself from Order tracking. We may email you a reminder about an unpaid order; nothing is charged until payment is confirmed.
Saving a product to your wishlist does not reserve stock or hold its price. Products that are no longer available are hidden from your wishlist.
3. Source for Me
Sourcing requests are invitations for quotes, not guaranteed purchases. You must provide accurate contact details and a lawful request. Zyria and merchants may decline requests that appear fraudulent, prohibited, or outside operational capacity. Quotes are not binding until you accept them and complete payment.
4. Merchant terms
Store registration is an application. Zyria may leave a store pending, verify, suspend, or remove it. You warrant that goods are authentic, that you have rights to sell them, and that settlement account details belong to you or your registered business. Platform commission (including the published marketplace rate) may be deducted before payout. You must not attempt to bypass the platform's payout process, impersonate Zyria staff, or access another merchant’s dashboard.
You may list only products that are physically in stock and ready to ship, and you must confirm this each time you add a product. You must set a complete pickup address (address, city, state and phone number) for your store before listing products, so couriers can collect orders; keep it accurate.
Zyria does not sell vehicles. You must not list cars, motorcycles, tricycles (keke), buses, trucks or any other vehicle, in any category. Car accessories and parts that a courier can deliver may be listed under Car Accessories & Parts, up to 50 kg packed weight. Vehicle listings are removed.
Zyria books couriers for orders and appears as the sender on courier labels; your pickup address is used so the courier can collect from you. Riders arrange collection through Zyria. You must not put business cards, flyers, phone numbers, social media handles or other contact details in or on parcels, ask buyers for their contact details, or arrange sales or deliveries with Zyria buyers outside the Platform. Zyria may suspend stores that do.
Your earnings on an item become due once the buyer confirms receipt and the review period shown in your seller Payouts page has passed, provided no refund request on it is awaiting a decision. Zyria pays due earnings, after its service fee, by bank transfer to your verified payout account. If a refund is approved on an item after you have been paid for it, your share of that refund is deducted from your next payout; you can see every deduction on your Payouts page. You cannot change your payout bank account yourself after registration. To correct it, contact hello@zyria.ng from your account email; Zyria will verify the new account with our payment partner before updating it.
5. Featured store placements
Merchants may pay to feature their store at the top of the stores section of the Zyria homepage for a week (Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59, Lagos time). Featured stores are paid advertising and are labelled “Sponsored”. Their order changes regularly, so a placement does not guarantee a particular position, traffic or sales.
The price, the number of spots per week, how far ahead you can book and how many weeks in a row a store may be featured are shown when you book and may change for future bookings; the price you pay is fixed when you book. A week that has already started is charged only for the days left. To book, your store must be approved and active, accepting orders, have a pickup address and meet the minimum number of in-stock products shown on the booking page.
You may pay from your Zyria Wallet or through Paystack. A Paystack booking holds your spot for 30 minutes while you pay. If your payment is confirmed after the hold ends, we will give you any spot still free that week; if none is free, the amount is credited to your Zyria Wallet.
You may cancel an unpaid booking at any time, and a paid booking before its week starts for a full credit to your Zyria Wallet. A paid booking cannot be cancelled by you once its week has started. A store that is suspended or stops accepting orders is not shown while that lasts. Zyria may withdraw a booking, for example for a breach of these Terms, and will credit the unused whole days to the paying account’s Zyria Wallet.
6. Payments
Payments are processed by licensed partners such as Paystack. You authorise Zyria and its processors to charge the selected method. Unverified or simulated payments do not create a fulfilled order. Chargebacks, fraud, or abuse may result in order cancellation and account restriction.
7. Zyria Wallet
Each account has a Zyria Wallet. You can add funds through Paystack and use the balance to pay for orders and featured store placements on the Platform. The wallet is not a bank account: it does not earn interest, and its balance cannot be withdrawn to a bank account, exchanged for cash, or transferred to another user.
Approved order refunds, refunds for cancelled featured placements, and referral rewards are credited to your Zyria Wallet rather than to your original payment method. Your wallet history shows every top-up, payment, refund, reward and adjustment. Zyria may correct a wallet balance that was credited in error, and may freeze or reverse credits obtained through fraud, abuse or a reversed payment.
8. Referral programme
You can share your personal referral link from your profile. When someone creates a new Zyria account through your link, their account is linked to yours; a referral cannot be added to an existing account afterwards.
You earn a reward, credited to your Zyria Wallet, once the person you referred confirms receipt of their first order. You must have made at least one paid purchase of your own to receive rewards; a reward earned before then is paid once you have. Each referred account earns a reward only once. The current reward is shown on your profile and may be a fixed amount or a percentage of the order, up to a limit. The reward can change; the amount you receive is the reward in place when it is paid.
Referring yourself or accounts you control, creating fake or duplicate accounts, or otherwise abusing the programme is not allowed. Zyria may withhold or reverse rewards obtained that way and may change, pause or end the programme at any time; rewards already paid to your wallet are not affected.
9. Returns, refunds, and seller settlements
Return and refund requests are reviewed from the order evidence; submitting a request does not automatically approve a refund or debit a seller. Approved refunds are credited to the buyer’s Zyria Wallet (see section 7). Zyria’s seller service fee, payout conditions, buyer eligibility rules, and dispute process are described in the Fair Returns & Seller Protection policy. Nothing in that policy restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Acceptable use and security
You must not probe, scrape, or attack the Platform; attempt session hijacking; reuse stolen credentials; inject malware; or create hidden administrator access. Automated access requires Zyria’s written permission. We may terminate sessions, lock accounts after failed logins, and log security events to protect users.
11. Intellectual property
Zyria names, logos, and Platform software are owned by Zyria or its licensors. Merchants retain rights in their own catalog content and grant Zyria a licence to display it for marketplace operation, including in featured store placements.
12. Disclaimers and liability
The Platform is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Zyria is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, merchant-caused defects subject to applicable consumer rights, or delays caused by couriers, banks, or force majeure. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.
13. Termination
You may close your account by contacting hello@zyria.ng. Zyria may suspend or terminate access for breach, legal risk, or prolonged inactivity. Surviving clauses include intellectual property, liability limits, and dispute terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Courts of competent jurisdiction in Lagos, Nigeria shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.
15. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new version date, and signed-in users will be asked to review and accept them. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Questions: hello@zyria.ng.
